From Patrick:

UFO’s all came together around April / May besides the track "Forever" that I recorded right before I submitted the tracks for distribution. These songs mean so much to me because they were some of the first songs I started creating right when the lock down was initiated. So it’s a lot of stuff I was working through in my head on tour with Cycles that I didn’t have much energy to work on once I got home from being on the road for months at a time. This was the first time I had some time and fresh energy to get some of these songs recorded. It became an obsession and now I have so much music that I am currently hoarding, reworking and overdubbing constantly when I’m not making new songs. I usually make as many songs as I can in a 3 day / week period and then pick my faves and start mixing. "Dreams" was mostly acoustic. "Angel" was experimenting with synthesizers and electric guitar. This album is more about the drums. I wanted all the drum beats to go off. I also wanted to play a fair amount of guitar on this one as well. Those were my goals for "UFO’s." Also the album artwork is a photo of the ocean beach I took in my old neighborhood, the outer sunset in San Francisco.

My cousin Dante the Human had some bars ready for "Love Somebody" and man he crushed it. His energy, passion, and vibe speaks volumes of his intention. Also I had my buddy, Lucas Parker take a solo over the middle section in "Twilight." He is one of my favorite guitarists. One of the best around. "Twilight" is my favorite song on the album. I wrote it for Cycles in 2016. It’s been one of my favorite songs to play for years. I wanted to slow it down so everyone could really feel the chords and the melody in the chorus. So grateful for that tune. Much love and keep your ears out for more!

UFO’s of the mind
Come racing all the time
Without ever knowing
The reason or the rhyme
Today I’ll paint a picture
It might shatter the glass
The bass thats here to drop
Will surely shake your ass
